Viking Muscle Update: now more Viking than ever!

Hail! It has been a bit slow on Viking Muscle for the last few weeks, but for good reason…

Viking Muscle has moved to Sweden!

Over the last few weeks I have been running around frantically trying to finalize a long term work contract, get a work visa, and sell everything I own before moving to Stockholm.  It has been crazy to say the least.

Today marks my first month since landing in Nordic.  I have had a few weeks to begin adaptation to the new way of life, the language  and the culture.  I will begin to write posts on some of the incredible differences there are in the fitness habits of the Swedes, as I feel we could all take a lesson in the fact that they are one of the fittest nations on the planet.

During this relocation process, the diet and exercise regimen have been a low priority.  But life goes on, sometime you need to indulge.  I find that after a few weeks off, I want to come back and focuses harder, diet better, and lift heavier!

It has been a great experience thus far, I feel re-energized in my fitness goals for the year.  Gyms are everywhere, Stockholm is bike friendly, and there is a very active community involved in sports and recreational fitness to keep me motivated.
